Spotlight: Producer Kyle Lee

Hello Everyone! I've decided to highlight my producer, Kyle Lee, this month and let you in on who he is and some of his background. The record is coming along great and Kyle is doing an amazing job at keeping the entire record current and completely now...if that makes any sense. Kyle and I are very excited and want to get it into your hands just as soon as possible. Even though I can't give any dates on when it will be released yet, please be checking back on the blog for more exciting details. It has been a pleasure to work with such a talented producer and someone who knows the industry and can pull the very best out of me and every song that is on the record. I will tell you this.... you won't be disappointed!

I forgot my camera the last time I was in Nashville but promise to take one at the end of the month to capture my time....oops!! Here's a little about Kyle....enjoy!

Kyle Lee

Producer/Writer/Engineer

Bio

Kyle's career started with leading worship at his home church in Texarkana, TX. After playing on Wednesday night, he would travel to another church to hear one of his favorite local bands, Pocket Full of Rocks. There was an immediate connection between he and lead singer Michael Farren, and eventually Kyle was asked to join the band. After playing many years and recording their Live DVD in 2002, "Pocket" gained more exposure and eventually signed with Word/Myrrh Records in 2005. After touring the major release Song to the King in 2006, Kyle and his wife Shelly moved to Tennessee. It was during the planning stages of the band's second CD release that Kyle began to feel called to another long-time passion, producing. Through talks with the band, it was decided that Kyle would trade his spot as guitar player in the band for the role of producer for the upcoming release, Manifesto. After Manifesto's release in July 2007, Kyle has continued to pursue this passion as well as others including writing, mixing, and engineering. Already having worked with many of the industry's leading artists, Kyle looks forward to all that lies ahead.

The latest news... this last year "Pocket Full Of Rocks" was nominated as worship band of the year. Kyle has just begun work on producing their 2008 project. Be checking the national Christian bookstores for Pocket's new record sometime soon. As always, Kyle will bring an amazing record to the Christian community.
